Biographie
Michele De Agostini was born in a little town, in the North East of Italy, San Vito Al Tagliamento, on May 8th 1973, between the winds of the Balkan culture and viennese secession Austria.
In 1995, he registered to the Art Institute of Cordenons, in the applied graphic design and photography sector, in which he graduated in 1998.
He immediately started working as a painter, comic author (scenario and illustration) for various fanzines and other independent magazines.
In 1998, he took part in the international competition of illustration for children in Chioggia town and also in the national competition for comics, in Prato.
During his studies, he met various plastic artists who taught him to master the field of vision and space, central elements in his work and in which he got his information in order to make his work.
Later, he collaborated with these artists for the painting of public works such as mural fresco…
In 2000, he made a series of paintings, inspired by his readings of Kafka, in which can be found the theme of occidental social metamorphosis. His most representative paintings are “Maternita”, “Paesaggio dell’anima”and “Presenze” (All of them belong to a private collection).
In all these paintings, the painter turned his back on classicism and got closer to the abstract informal painting.
At the end of 2002, he left Italy for France in search for new experiences.
During his stay, he did various jobs while perfecting his style until the end of 2005, when, strong by his experience, he decided to show his work.
At the end of 2005, he settled in Fréjus (on the French Riviera) where he’s been producing and exhibiting his work in his Show-Room “DM ART STUDIO”.
De Agostini Michele, est né dans un petit pays du nord-est de l'Italie le 8 mai 1973, entre les vents de la culture Balkanique et l'Autriche de la Sécession Viennoise, à San Vito al Tagliamento.
En 1995, il s'inscrit à l'institut d'art de Cordenons dans la section "Graphisme appliqué et Photographie" d'où il sortira en 1998. Il commence tout de suite à travailler comme peintre, auteur de B.D (scénario et illustration) pour des "Fanzines" et autres magazines indépendants. Il participe au concours international d'illustrations pour enfants à Città di Chioggia et au concours national de Prato pour la B.D.
Pendant l'école il rencontre différents artistes plasticien qui lui apprendront à maîtriser l’espace et le champ visuel, éléments centraux dans son œuvre et dans lesquelles il puisera en suite pour réaliser de ses travaux. Plus tard il collaborera avec ces derniers à la réalisation de certains œuvres publiques (fresques murales...).
En 2000, il réalise une série de tableaux inspirés par les lectures de Kafka dans lesquelles on retrouve le thème de la métamorphose social occidentale. Les œuvres les plus représentatives sont "MATERNITA" (collection privée), "PAESAGGIO DELL' ANIMA" (collection privée) et "PRESENZE"(collection privée), œuvres avec lesquelles le peintre se détache du classicisme et s’approche de la peinture informelle abstraite.
Fin 2002, il part pour la France en quête de nouvelles expériences.
Pendant son séjour, il exécute divers petits boulots tout en perfectionnant son style jusqu'à fin 2005 date à laquelle, fort de son expérience, il décide de présenter son œuvre. A la fin 2005 il s’Installe à Fréjus ou il produit et expose ses oeuvres dans son atelier laboratoire "DM ART STUDIO".
